Sometimes I Hate These Pesky Devices!
I haven’t been on my laptop, and so haven’t been here at my website, which I usually connect to via my laptop, rather than on my phone. But my laptop and I are over our ‘issues’ and with the assistance of both my wonderful husband, and my mobile phone, those troublesome issues have been attended…
When Writing One Must Always …
No, I’m not going to give sage advice about anything related to grammar, or reader engagement, or using correct tenses, or any of that doubtless important stuff. If you’re hear reading this you quite likely already know about such things. No, what you must always do when writing is to hold your sense of wonder,…
Stand Up, Sit Down and Write, Move, & Write Some More!
The title is a list of what I do, or want to do in my life. My Stand Up career is not actually a thing I’ve ever done for money, so not a career at all, not yet anyway. This image is of me, getting in touch with the character I ‘am’ when I do…
What Am I Going To Do Next?
I more or less ‘retired’ from the nine to five working for someone else world back in 1993, when I quit my govenment job to be a ‘stay at home mother’. My son is now almost 33, and living a good life, so I must have done a good job at being a mother. He…

Step Up or Step out? Or Step Away, Think, Then Step Back In, But Differently …
Thinking about things, without making decisions, that is a fool’s game, and by the time you hit my age (almost 63) surely the time for playing the games of fools is over, or at least should be anyway. Since May last year, my mind has been in a state of flux, but I’m feeling that…
When I Name Myself as a Curator, What Do I Mean?
I have no official professional quailfication as a Curator, no Tertiary education in any Art subjects. But while I would not be able to get the job of Curator in any other institution, I am certainly the expert in the “Redbanks Rust & Found Art Installation”! No-one knows more about this Art Installation than I…
What Is The Art Installation I’m Curating?
I am Curating the Redbanks Rust & Found Art Installation, and while it it is not yet drawing in hundreds of visitors, I have high hopes it will be bringing in visitors soon. An Art Installation without visitors is a sad thing, except of course, the Installation has hundreds of cars driving past it every…
